VTG JOHNSON BROS, His Majesty, Scalloped Oval Thanksgiving Turkey Platter, 20.25

  
Made from 1955 to 1983. Turkey center, main color is brown with color tinted fruit. The platter measures 20.25 inches long x 15.5 inches wide. Mark on back of platter reads: HIS MAJESTY From An Original Hand Engraving, Johnson Bros, England 1883.

Platter was bought in the early 80's. It was well taken care of. There were quite a few years this was not used due to Thanksgiving being held elsewhere. Item is in good display condition with some slight storage wear / discoloring on the bottom outer foot rim.

It has a slight glaze blemish above the tree to the left (shown with a picture). Shouldn't be a problem for most. Ironstone platter weighs just over 8 pounds 1 ounce.
