This treasure was first produced in 1953 by the Johnson Brothers in England. This is part of the Friendly Village collection series of traditional dinnerware best known for its charming depictions of idyllic village scenes.

This heirloom-quality pattern adds a timeless appeal to any table! This 20-piece Dinner Service includes. 4 Dinner Plates - 9.75 wide x.

4 Side/Salad Plates - 6 wide x. 4 Soup/Cereal Bowls - 6" wide x 1.75" deep. 4 Cups - 3.75" wide x 2.75" deep. 4 Saucers - 5 wide x. These dishes are safe for use in dishwashers, freezers and microwave ovens.

Although the box has seen better days the dishes have never been used and are still in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. It has also been stored in a clean, dry and smoke-free environment. Please, look carefully at the actual pictures to judge the condition for yourself.

It was among the most successful Staffordshire potteries which produced tableware, much of it exported to the United States, from the 1890s through to the 1960s.
