Rare Lavender Johnson Bros England Old Britain Castles 19.75 Platter. This rare and pretty lavender platter depicts Stafford Castle as it was in 1702. It measures 19 3/4" long x 15 3/4" wide x 1 1/2 tall, and is in very good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing.

Some slight scratching that is very hard to see on the face of platter. There might be a few factory imperfections here and there but that is normal in the pottery firing technique.

The last photo shows how some lavender glaze got on a few places on the bottom where it probably shouldn't be during the manufacturing process. Overall Very good condition and very lovely piece.
