The Johnson Brothers Willow Blue Large Oval Tureen and Lid is a vintage two-piece set manufactured in the United Kingdom in the mid 1900's. This elegant soup tureen features a classic Blue Willow pattern with a glossy finish, perfect for serving large amounts of soup or stew.

This tureen came from an estate, still in the Marshall Field wrappings. It was part of a wedding gift and was never used or even displayed. Even though it is "new" out of box, there is a very tiny chips/flake on the edge of the bottom pedestal. In addition there is some age crazing on the lid. This is common for Johnson Bros.
