Johnson Brothers England Blue Willow 10 1/4 Dinner Plate Set/8, EUC

  

This set of 8 Johnson Brothers Blue Willow Dinner Plates is in very excellent pre-owned condition. Each plate measures 10 1/4 inches in diameter, and they are all of the same pattern and color. Made in Staffordshire, England, this backstamp is from the 1990s.

They have a very glossy finish, no cracks, chips, stains, or crazing. On very close inspection, there is an occasional light utensil surface scratch. As is typical of transferware, there is an occasional overage of the application, as noted in the final four photos. Although they are microwave and dishwasher safe, these plates have only been hand washed and treated very gently. Due to the weight (11 lb 2 oz) and fragile nature, they will be packaged with extreme care using an abundance of packing materials.
