Johnson Bros. Kenworth Flow Blue 12-sided Platter-14

  

KENWORTH FLOW BLUE 12-SIDED PLATTER-14" x 11". This Johnson Brothers Kenworth pattern in flow blue features a blackberry vine pattern in the twelve-sided shape (this is NOT the fluted shape, which the pattern was also made in, but the rarer 12-sided version).

The platter is in excellent condition, although with the expected crazing and firing marks. The backstamp says "JOHNSON BROTHERS; KENWORTH; ENGLAND, " indicating a pre-1914 piece, most likely from the late 19th century, and they are hard to find. My Kenworth pieces come from a SMOKE-FREE and PET-FREE home.
