12.25 Inch X 9.25 Inch Serving Platter. Pattern is six ribbons with rose flower swags in Flow blue, no gold trim. The maker's Mark on the back reads. The backmark is dated October 21, 1902.
It was among the most successful Staffordshire potteries which produced tableware, much of it exported to the USA, from the 1890s through the 1960s. They were also important manufacturers of large bathroom ceramics.
Founded in 1883 from 1883 to 2015, it operated as a part of the Wedgewood Group. However, after the Wedgewood was acquired by Fiskars in 2015, the production of Johnson Brothers was discontinued.

Platters were usually brought out only for family events and holidays, so the platter is in good condition for being 121 years old. I have family heirloom platters so this one is for sale.
