Gorgeous Large Antique Set Basin Bowl by Johnson Brothers Royal Ironstone and Wash Water Pitcher by Homer Laughlin. Believe this bowl is from around 1920, based on the stamp at the bottom. This bowl was made in England and created with top quality materials by the acclaimed. It is crafted of thick, heavy English Ironstone clay pottery and glazed with heavy white glaze.
The bowl has scattered crazing and surface scratches on the inside. There are a couple of imperfections on the lip of the bowl from the manufacturing process. There are no chips or cracks. Measurements are approximate: Bowl diameter 14.75" Bowl depth 4.75".
The pitcher was made by Homer Laughlin. I believe it is the same age as the bowl. The Pither is 12.5" tall and 8.5" wide. Excellent condition with no crazing, chips, or cracks.
