8 Johnson Brothers His Majesty 10 1/2 Turkey Plates Made in England Old Mark

  

Recent find from a Virginia estate. Set of eight, 10 1/2 dinner plates by Johnson Brother's in the His Majesty Turkey pattern. Carries the Johnson Brother's, made in England mark on the underside. Seven of the 8 plates are in excellent, near pristine condition w.

Ith no chips, cracks, stains or crazing; extremely light to no evidence of use. Possibly an insignificant tiny, faint mark or two, but most likely from storage rather than use. The eighth plate is equally as brilliant; however, there is a thin chip on the underside rim (see last photo). Regardless, an absolutely stunning set with vibrant colors and a high sheen glaze.
