This is a large serving bowl in the "Friendly Village" pattern by Johnson Brothers, an English pottery company. The bowl features a winter country scene with a covered bridge, known as "Autumn Mists", one of several idyllic village scenes depicted in the collection. The "Friendly Village" pattern by Johnson Brothers was discontinued making these pieces sought after by collectors.
