10 Vintage 1939-1979 Johnson Brothers Castle on the Lake Pink Red Dinner Plates

  
This is a beautiful set of 10 vintage Pink Red Castles on the Lake by Johnson Brothers England. The scene features an Old English castle scene in pink red transferware depicting a castle in the far left background surrounded by a body of water with two river banks on each side of the foreground with beautiful blossoming flowers.

Condition is very, very good. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. On the backs of a few of the plates there is evidence of a little wear including some small scuff marks and the rim of the underside center of one has a dark line, none of which detracts from this nice set of 10 dinner plates.
