Lovely Vintage SET OF 6 Johnson Bros. Old English'California Pattern' Fruit Centers. MULTI COLOR SET- one of each color, 6 total. Beautiful'Flat' Cups Are 4" across tops and 2 3/8" high, Saucers are 5.75 wide.

Very good to Excellent vintage condition, this is a RARE'COMPLETE' SET OF 6 Johnson Bros Old English'California' Fruit Pattern cups and saucers in the full range of colors- 12 pieces total. Each cup & saucer has a different color band with cream colored rope edge trim, and DIFFERENT fruit artwork in the center.

All fully marked on back. This set contains one each of the colors made for this pattern one each of Yellow, Blue, Aqua, Pink, Beige, and Mint Green. They also have a different colored contrasting band down each of the cup handles which coordinates w the color of each piece. Green cup has a light brown age crack in glaze inside cup at bottom, yellow cup has a tiny flat chip on outer rim edge, aqua saucer has a tiny chip on rim edge- see last 2 pics. Some very gentle surface crazing through the glaze which all pieces in this pattern seem to develop over time, totally normal for age, and almost impossible to notice [not darkened]. See all pics and use zoom. OLD MARK says'OLD ENGLISH Johnson Bros Made In England' on bottom in blue with a crown symbol. This is a beautiful set, would look very nice in use or on display.

A magnificent set for a collector... These Cups & Saucers are VERY difficult to find together as a set, and some colors are almost impossible to find.
